On Sunday, 8/22/15, from 5:15am-9:30am EDT, the ShareFile API server became unresponsive as a result of routine automated maintenance. Due to the extremely small bandwidth load at the time, monitoring failed to fully identify the issue until later in the morning. Once notified, the operations team manually restarted the affected servers and restored full connectivity. API calls and ShareFile Sync would have been degraded or offline during this event.

We are adding new maintenance procedures to ensure that events of this nature are mitigated going forward, including process improvements and reviewing alert thresholds. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
